Why is Tethar only on Android?
We build only for Android so we can protect it as fully as possible — on Android a parental‑control app can manage which apps run, filter the web through our own browser and work quietly in the background. iPhone isn't supported yet, though iOS is on our roadmap.
Will my child know it's installed?
Tethar is designed to be transparent, not sneaky. It keeps the phone looking and feeling normal rather than hiding — we believe healthy digital habits are built on trust, and you decide how much to involve your child.
How is my family's data handled?
Data integrity is of the utmost importance to us. Data is only ever visible to you, and never sold. We collect the minimum needed to keep your child safe.
Can two parents manage the same child?
Yes. Co-parenting is built in — invite another parent or guardian to share access to your dashboard so you're both kept in the loop.
How many children can I add?
As many as you like. Every plan includes unlimited children at one price — add each child and manage them all from a single parent dashboard.
